Abstract

Based on the essential content of the human right to work, the two-dimensionality and the horizontal effect of human rights, as well as the conceptualization of discrimination and its typology with the support of the analytical method, the resolutions and criteria issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights and the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance, the objective of this work, from a human rights perspective, is to analyze the manifestation of religious freedom in the European labor field and to expose the resolutions and measures implemented to avoid transgressing or nullifying religious beliefs as a result of the mandatory compliance with the labor conditions imposed by the employer.
