Generational changes have a more important role
in creating strategies to deal with economic crises
by setting trends in trade as Generation Z has done
today. Therefore, SMEs as the main generators
of formal employment in Latin America, with the
support of emerging technologies, and a change in
environmental awareness have been strengthening
and innovating, making visible the few known green
enterprises. The purpose of this research is to identify
how green SMEs meet environmental challenges,
technological disruption (electronic commerce) while
maintaining profitability and the demands of GEN Z.
This through an analysis of scientific information from
a systematic review of the literature with a deductiveanalytical
method with a qualitative and quantitative
methodology. As a result, SMEs adapt to socioeconomic
contexts, breaking with excessive consumption, carefree
and unfriendly to the environment.
