The article analyzes the electronic environment, as a setting where people make new multicultural relationships, but where conflicts are also generated, and mediation as an alternative mechanism to solve them. New ways of providing solutions in a highly changing world are needed, where the traditional state justice method is not adequate enough to give a quick respond. The constant delays, inefficiency, high costs, lack of specialization, and immediacy and its bureaucracy, make the system discourage those who have to make a claim or carry out litigation. Mediation, and its techniques and tools seem to be the best way to help the parties reach agreements. Those who interact in networks socially or by business, where the main characteristic is agility, require the same answers to solve their contentious situations when they occur.Downloads
