RIGHT TO FREEDOM TO RELIGION IN THE UNIVERSAL SYSTEM OF HUMAN RIGHTS
CASE CHINA
Abstract
The objective of this article was to analyze the persecution of Christianity in the face of religious freedom as a human right in the context of the international context, with special emphasis on the case of China. Through the application of a documentary-type methodology, it is specified that the right to religious freedom is provided for in the universal system of rights, however, the instruments for the elimination of all forms of intolerance and discrimination based on religion are pending adoption for their effective implementation. the effect of which is the existence of states in which people are persecuted on the basis of their religion, such as Christianity.
